Pureology Curl Complete | Product Review

Image
Good Morning! So I just finished my first bottles of Pureology Curl Complete Shampoo and Conditioner. I MUST say that I doubted these products in the beginning. I just didn't think that they'd be comparable or... better than curlyhair specific product lines. Clearly you can't judge a book on it's cover and I was proved wrong immediately. I loved this set! First, I just want to say that this duo lasted me a good two+ months. The price point is higher than average, but it is totally worth it. For a curly girl like me I usually HATE shampoo, but I really liked this one. It didn't make my hair feel dry/brittle after using it and it helped remove product buildup and oils off my scalp. I still have a good amount of shampoo left since I barely need any and it's concentrated so a little goes a long way.  I also loved the conditioner! It hydrates really well and again a little goes a long way. It provides great slip to be able to detangle and makes my hair really so

DevaCurl | Product Review

Image
Good Morning! About a month ago I finally decided to purchase DevaCurl products to try. So I spent about $40 on this set which includes an 8oz bottle of No-Poo, 8oz Bottle of One Condition, 8oz of Ultra Defining Gel, 3oz of Spray Gel, and 3 oz of Styling Cream. It was a pretty good deal so I can get an idea of their products.  I have 3B curls, if you are unsure of what kind of curls you have you could go take this test on  Naturally Curly .  1. DevaCurl No-Poo  I give this product a four out of five stars. It is a no lather shampoo and I am fine with the no lather as long as my scalp feels clean afterwards, which it did. I do like the smell of this product as it has a fresh and clean scent. The reason I don't give this a five out of five stars is because I don't feel that I can only use this shampoo. It is good for a freshen up in between washes, but I do feel that I get product build up faster since I use creamy products. So I need to keep a deeper cleanser on han

A Guide for Tinder

Image
Good Morning,  My boyfriend and I were hanging out with our friends a few nights ago and they were all discussing their new Tinder accounts that they recently set up. They were saying how it's a different way of meeting people because you set it up based on age and radius. It's like speed dating, but you don't really get to speak to them. As I was going through their Tinder with them and hitting "like" and "dislike" and the rare "super like" which you only get once a day if you don't pay for it, it felt like a game. As a girl who doesn't have a Tinder who is looking at other girl's Tinder with my guy friends and knowing what they are looking for I felt there was a need for a general guide, especially since there are fake accounts on there! Picture Guidelines : 1. A good selfie. 2. An entire picture of you dressed well. (casual or formal, it doesn't matter) 3. You with your friends or family. 4. You being active o

❤ September ipsy Bag ❤ Review

Image
Hi Everyone,  I wanted to share my September ipsy bag with all of you. As you probably know, ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that is $10 a month where you get five beauty products and you also get a makeup bag that it comes in (steal!). So this month I got Elizabeth Mott Queen of the Fill Tinted Brow Gel, City Color City Chic Lipstick, Octavio Argan Oil, NYX three shadow pallet, and First Aid Beauty (FAB) Ultra Repair Cream.  The tinted brow gel has a really nice consistency and went on easily. It came in medium-dark which I felt was a little dark for me, but as the day went on I got used to it (I usually use a brow pencil Anastasia Beverly Hills or Chella in Taupe). It keeps a nice hold, but the reason I use a brow pencil is so that I fill in so I can't see my skin under my eyebrows. I personally wouldn't use the brow gel solo since it doesn't color my skin under my eyebrows, but over a pencil I would. If you have really nice full eyebrows where you just want to

Shea Moisture Product Review

Image
For the past month and a half I have been using some Shea Moisture products that I have been wanting to share with you guys, but it's been hard to figure out where I stand with them. I feel that I am never 100% happy with products that I am using and sometimes I think it could just be because I have curly hair. I always feel that there is something that could be improved to make my hair the way I want it to be. All I am asking for is my hair to be hydrated, voluminous, bouncy, soft, and frizz-free with some control/manageability. Does that seem to be a lot? I don't feel that it should be considered a lot when typically the things I'm describing are related to each other. Yet I can't find really anything to that satisfies me 100%. *sad face* Anyway, leading up to my product review... I used three Shea Moisture products: Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner, Curl Enhancing Smoothie, & Curling Gel Soufflé. Curl & Shine Conditione

My favorite looks at the 2015 MTV VMAs

Image
Good Morning, Did you get a chance to watch the 2015 VMAs last night? If you did not get a chance to sit down and watch it you missed a couple great performances, Justin Bieber cry, Kanye West announce that he's running for president in 2020, and the beautiful looks for the night! As soon as I saw Taylor Swift's makeup look I was amazed. Not only was it flawless and clean, but it was also so simple. I cannot wait to replicate this look ASAP!! The second look that I was in love with was Kylie Jenner's. Her look was so vintage, yet modern at the same time. Her makeup was great, but I really think her hair completed the look. She looks very mature. I think this might be my favorite look for her. The 2015 MTV VMAs was definitely entertaining. I still cannot believe Nicki Minaj called out Miley Cyrus on something that was said to a tabloid and that Kanye West is going to run for president! Definitely check out some clips from last night. What did you like about the 2015

Product Review: The Nudes & Master Conceal Maybelline New York

Image
Good Evening Everyone,     I kept hearing rave reviews on these two Maybelline products, The Nudes and Master Conceal, so I decided to try them out. The Nudes pallet I paid I believe around $11 for it and for the most part the shadows are pretty pigmented. The light colors seemed to not highlight as much as I would have liked them to, but I also feel that since I have very fair skin that I understand why they didn't work out well. On the other hand, the darker colors (75% of the pallet), were pigmented and build able. It worked perfect for an everyday go to pallet for some neutral shades just to make the lids pop a little and then if I wanted to create a smokey eye in the evening it worked well too! I feel that this product is worth the $11, especially for someone who wants to start applying eyeshadow, recreate smokey eye looks, and/or for key neutral shades.    The Master Conceal in the shade 20-Light worked really well. I felt that it covered my dark circles nicely, strobe
